Searching for tips on how to last longer in bed? Here's an unorthodox tip that you've probably never tried before: Unplug.

Turn off your TV and your cell phone. And turn off your computer (but not until you've finished reading this article, of course!)


How does he relate to premature ejaculation? A leading cause of premature ejaculation is stress. And our modern, gadget-filled society fills us with so much stress, that we often forget that we really can just "unplug" from it and take a break if we want to.


If you want to take it even further, turn all the lights off and enjoy a night totally by candle light. Not only can this be romantic, but you'll be amazed at how relaxing it is.


Instead of being bombarded with tons of messages and noises at nearly every second, you'll find that this "unplugged" world is a whole lot calmer. And you'll start listening to more of your surroundings. You might hear a dog barking down the block, or some birds chirping in a tree next door, that you never would have heard before.


Try to cultivate this level of awareness and mindfulness, because you'll notice all the little things that make life special. And of course it'll make you a better lover.


Here are a few more tips on improving your mental awareness and focus in bed, so that you can last longer.


1) Focus on Her


Performance anxiety is often the result of being too far inside your own head. Stop thinking about yourself, and focus on her and her enjoyment of the moment. Focus on your breathing and stay relaxed and cool.


2) Start Thinking of Sex As Normal


This one relates to performance anxiety too. A lot of guys with premature ejaculation think of sex as some super special event, and as a result, they build up too much pressure. Well, here's a change in perspective for you: start thinking of sex as no big deal, as just an every day occurrence.


So how can you make sex seem like a normal, every day thing?


3) Start Having Sex More Often


Some sex therapists recommend avoiding sex for a while until you've begun to overcome premature ejaculation (by practicing with masturbation). But for many men, it can be helpful to have sex more often, so that you make it a normal part of every day life, rather than making it something too special (which might fill you with performance anxiety).


If you do it more often, then even if you hit some bumps along the way, you'll recognize that you'll have sex again tomorrow. And even if you didn't last as long as you wanted today, you'll see that tomorrow is another opportunity to improve your endurance.


You can overcome this! You just need to invest yourself in the process, and progress will come.
