Here's what you'll need to get the most out of your sex life.

  • For enthusiastic sex, you'll need to do some cardio and endurance exercises.  You don’t want to bomb out half way through sexual intercourse.  Aim for 3 to 4 days of cardio exercises such as walking, running, swimming, circuit exercises or anything else that you enjoy and your partner will thank you and want more.
  • Gain flexibility and enhance you sex life by making it easier to get into your favourite position without any problems.  Pilates or Yoga can help set the mood and increase your flexibility.  Hot stretches will get you ready for the most vigorous sex.
  • Sex does also require endurance.  You may find yourself holding certain unusual positions for short periods of time, so conditioning your body can be a plus for longer lasting sex.  For endurance, you'll need to lift lighter weights for more repetitions.  Get working on an endurance training program and get conditioned for longer lasting sex.
  • While on the topic of holding yourself in position, muscular strength is something you will also need.  Your muscles will be working hard no matter what position you're in, so helps to be in shape to avoid any form of cramps.  Lifting heavier weights with fewer repetition will help you gain extra strength and you partner will love you for it.

Both sex and exercise have proven to help reduce stress and body tension so having sex and exercising on a regular basis should help you remain happy and relaxed.  One thing we all like to hear is that exercise does also help increase your sexual desire.  In addition to that, a balanced healthy diet along with adequate sleep can boost your libido so you are up for anything.
